Following a long-established tradition of supporting student initiatives, KWIAT complemented the vision of the participants in the "Miss & Mister New Bulgarian University" fashion event, which took place on 21 November, 2013 in the posh Sofia night club – Sin City, which hosted the competition for a second consecutive year. The winners of the contest, who will represent the university in a variety of initiatives in the coming year are – Lydmila Jrdanova – Dancing Theatre major, Latchezar Nikolov – Civil and Corporate security major. Not less prestigious second and third place awards went to Martin Darietort, Aliona Golobodorko, Vikotr Andreev and Theodora Rusenova. The celebrity jury that chose the winners were Irina Papazova, Mister Manhunt 2012 – Daniel Georgiev, Miss Bulgaria 2011 – Vanq Peneva, TV presenter Nicky Mihailov and Angel Georgiev – chairman of NPSS. Each one of the participants, presented themselves with a video card and in the first round of the "Miss and Mister NBU" marched with PUMA sport outfits. In the second round, the ladies presented Delfina bathing suites, new KWIAT eye-wear models autumn-winter 2013/2014 and K.D.P. jewelry. In the final round the gentlemen presented elegant Andrews suits and the ladies – stylish Thelo dresses. The good of the audience was ensured by the life performances of the pop-singer Rafi, the lovely ballet dancers from NOVA, Lazar Kisiov, Nasio, Eduard and Martin. The famous Boyan Karaivanov took care of the choreorgaphy of the whole event. Some extra glamour was given to the event by the fireworks specialist. The fashion show was supported by the Student Council of New Bulgarian University and the main organisers Temenuga Todorovaand Sarah Zaher, director – Nikolay-Emil Shopov.
